How we score
Every find gets three scores, each from 1 to 10.
Design is how it looks and feels in the hand, or on the desk, or in the room.
Quality is the materials, the build, and whether it holds up.
Utility is whether it actually solves the problem on a normal day.
The overall score is the rounded average of those three. If we override it, the page uses that number instead. A short line can sit under each score to say why.
We start from the maker’s official specs, then read reputable reviews. We do not take payment for a score or a spot on the list. If a link earns us a commission, the page says so.
